Jewish Magic and Multiculturalism in the Ancient World - 2000, reprinted 2003

In 2000, an article of mine was published in the AJS Perspectives on "Jewish Magic and Multiculturalism in the Ancient World," as part of a symposium on magic and Judaism. Two other articles were published together with it - Michael Swartz, "A Magic All its Own," and Ephraim Kanarfogel on "Magic in the Rabbinic Culture of Medieval Ashkenaz." I just discovered that the symposium was published again by the Societas Magica Newsletter in 2003, and that it is available online at: Spring 2003 issue (PDF).
